Sadaqah
What is Sadaqah?
Sadaqah is voluntary charity given out of compassion, love, friendship, or religious duty. Unlike Zakat, which is obligatory, Sadaqah is a voluntary act of giving that can be performed at any time, in any amount, and to anyone in need.
The Virtue of Sadaqah
Sadaqah holds great significance in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Sadaqah extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire." Giving Sadaqah purifies wealth, increases blessings, and brings immense spiritual rewards.
